The Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is a multidisciplinary research center established to advance fundamental and applied research in chemical biology. Endorsed by the USM Senate in July 2008 and officially approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in February 2009, CCB is situated at the Sains@USM campus in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB) is a multidisciplinary research centre dedicated to advancing the frontiers of science in the areas of chemical biology, biotechnology, and molecular research. The center emphasizes the development of international translational scientists, with a focus on local talent, and aims to facilitate technology transfer through smart partnerships.
