Future Scientist Program – Aktiviti Minggu STEM di SK Sri Aman, Ayer Hitam (15 Oktober 2025)

On 15th October 2025, the Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB), under the Future Scientist Program, made an inspiring appearance at Aktiviti Minggu STEM held at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Aman, Ayer Hitam, bringing science to life for students from Standard 1 to Standard 6 through interactive and hands-on learning activities.

The event aimed to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and a love for science among young learners, aligning with the national effort to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education from an early age.

Representing Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB) set up an engaging booth that attracted enthusiastic participation from students. The booth featured simple yet fascinating demonstrations showcasing how science plays a vital role in everyday life. Students had the opportunity to interact with scientific materials, ask questions, and explore the wonders of chemistry and biology in a fun and accessible way.

The Future Scientist Program continues to serve as a meaningful platform for outreach and education, bridging the gap between research institutions and the community, and nurturing the next generation of Malaysian scientists.
