Synergy Talk (Pre Viva Voce Presentation) at CCB, USM

The Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) successfully hosted its Synergy Talk: Pre Viva Voce Presentation series as part of the postgraduate training and preparation towards final viva voce examinations. The program aims to provide a platform for postgraduate students to sharpen their presentation skills, receive constructive feedback, and boost their confidence ahead of their official viva session.

Two postgraduate students presented their research work under this initiative:

1. Devyanai A/P Arumugam (PhD Student) – presented on 22 July 2025
2. Zhang Yaoyuan (PhD Student) – presented on 13 August 2025

The Synergy Talk not only served as a rehearsal for the students but also encouraged interactive discussions with peers and academic staff, allowing them to refine their research delivery and address potential viva questions effectively.

This initiative reflects CCB’s commitment in nurturing research excellence and supporting its postgraduate community in their academic journey.
