PETRONAS Research and USM Chemical Engineering Team Visit CCB to Explore Research Collaboration

On 4th July 2025, the Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB), USM received a short but meaningful visit from the PETRONAS Research Sdn. Bhd. (PRSB) group from Bangi together with the Chemical Engineering team from USM Nibong Tebal. The visit aimed to foster research collaboration and explore potential partnerships in the fields of chemical biology and advanced research technologies.

The visit was led by CCB Director, Associate Professor Dr. Rashidah, who warmly welcomed the delegation and guided them through the centre’s core facilities. During the trip, the visitors were given the opportunity to enter and tour CCB’s research laboratories, gaining insights into ongoing projects and state-of-the-art equipment used in chemical biology and related fields.

The visit marked a positive step toward fostering future research engagement and collaboration between industry and academia.
