Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration and Retirement Ceremony of Mr. Zulkifli at CCB USM

On 9 April 2025, the Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB) USM organized a meaningful event — a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration together with the retirement ceremony of Mr. Zulkifli. The event was held in a lively and warm atmosphere, filled with appreciation for the contributions of a dedicated figure at CCB.

The celebration began at 10:00 am in the main hall of CCB, attended by staff members, postgraduate students, and invited guests. Among the notable attendees was Professor Dato' Dr. Amirul Al-Ashraf Abdullah.

The Hari Raya celebration began with a welcoming speech by the Director of CCB, Associate Professor Dr Rashidah followed by Professor Dato' Dr. Amirul Al-Ashraf Abdullah. He spoke on the importance of celebrating achievements and recognizing the contributions of university members. He also commended Mr. Zulkifli for his significant role in building an inclusive and efficient management system at USM.

The highlight of the event was the retirement gift to Mr. Zulkifli as a token of appreciation for his dedicated service. The gift was presented by Prof. Dato' Dr. Amirul and accompanied by the Associate Professor Dr Rashidah. After the gift presentation, everyone enjoyed a variety of traditional Hari Raya dishes, including ketupat, lemang, rendang, kuah kacang, and assorted traditional sweets.

This event not only enlivened the Hari Raya spirit but also served as a meaningful platform to bid farewell to Mr. Zulkifli in a respectful and heartfelt manner. It reflected the strong sense of family within the CCB community and further strengthened unity and appreciation of cultural diversity.
