CCB Support's In World Autism Awareness Day 2019

World Autism Awareness Day is celebrated in April every year throughout the world to raise awareness about people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  It was celebrated with the blue theme, "Light It Up Blue".  Autism or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological disorder in the brain that affects the development of children's thinking.

As a sign of support for Autism Awareness Day,  the Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB)  has  set 30 April 2019 for all CCBians to wear BLUE.  On the same day, CCB had a Potluck Party to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day and also to welcome Ramadhan.  This potluck is a communal gathering where each of us contributes a different dish or food to be shared.
