    Characterises genomes of individual organisms or ecosystem communities—especially within Malaysian biodiversity—and explores gene function and regulation.

  3. Chemical Biology
    Utilises chemical tools to explore biological pathways and discover modulatory molecules. As the Centre's director describes: leveraging “smart use of advanced tools and probes” to understand how molecules influence life.
